The biggest difference is that for heavy crossbow, since you have to reload every time, it's easy to forget switching back to aimed mode, it's almost a breaking deal to me, the game should really reserve the current attack mode after reload instead of switching back to single every time. The only problem is that there are hardly any encounters with that many enemies (I haven't gotten into the Heaven yet), and that according to a thread I found, the Strelok crossbow is only available on the Seventh Heaven, by which I guess it's almost end game already, so most of the time, there are not much difference between these two. However, since most foes in this game is kinda like papers, you don't need all that damage from the Heavy crossbow, kill more enemies / round is better. The heavy crossbow delivers about 25% more damage + 7% more crit chance. Strelok (1/2/2): 5 as / round for only 10 AP. ![]() Heavy crossbow (3/3/1): much higher damage (due to higher base damage + that 20% from homemade skill) + higher range (3 cells which is 3% critical chance more) + 4% more base critical chance. Result Difficulty Tier Ingredients Thorny Armour: 20: 1: Scrap Metal, Hare Fur, (Wires or Rope), Nails x2 : Steel Breastplate: 50: 2: Scrap Metal x3, Hare Fur x2. I have unlocked the ways to 7th heaven, now on the Keys to Inventor quest, and all the random encounters that happened to me are: all are lynch mobs and gangs at daytime, pyromaniacs (this one happens 90) at nighttime, no more slavers, no black market encounter anymore despite I save scum for hours). ![]() ![]() Also the other option got cancelled as the faction had lost interest. I used the console to test between Strelok and Heavy crossbows, so far I think they're kinda on par. Playing Trudograd i was convinced you could get to the ' Seventh Heaven area ' It seems not as the top cop just says come back tomorrow ( which never comes ).
